THE DOSE is a two-piece rock band, hailing from Los Angeles, California. Guitarist / singer Indio Downey and drummer Ralph Alexander make nineties-inspired music, influenced by Nirvana and Led Zeppelin among many others. Downey's vocals have been compared to the "full-throated charisma" of Kurt Cobain and the melodic mood of Layne Stanley. The band originally formed as a trio in 2014, but released their first single, "Cold Hands," in late 2015 as a duo.
